Overview

  • Join a dynamic financial team as a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in real estate investments and development.
  • Contribute to underwriting multifaceted real estate deals, including multifamily, office, and retail properties.
  • Engage directly with C-level executives to present financial models and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop custom financial models for acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations with precision and analytical rigor.
  • Collaborate with construction managers, lenders, and investors to ensure capital accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive operational and forensic analysis to identify gaps and normalize financial data effectively.
  • Contribute to the organization’s underwriting playbook and modeling standards for systemic improvement.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration for optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop detailed DCF models for various real estate ventures, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Forecast capital stacks, returns, and investor participation using advanced financial techniques.
  • Analyze legal agreements and translate them into actionable financial insights.
  • Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to safeguard investments against potential risks.
  • Reverse-engineer cash flows and operations to uncover performance metrics and financial stories.
  • Manage lender draw processes and align capital budgets with compliance schedules.
  • Generate comprehensive investor return summaries and funding waterfalls regularly.
  • Collaborate on strategic ventures, JV partnerships, and capital raises with executive leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in real estate investments.
  • Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and underwriting techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize incomplete information into actionable insights.
  • Experience with operational analysis and forensic financial investigations.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and lender reporting requirements.
