Overview

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance surgical services within a healthcare organization, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop transformative service line growth strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive execution of operational plans, analyze results, and optimize physician engagement across multiple facilities.
  • Develop business cases for capital investments, ensuring resource allocation and asset utilization meet quality standards.
  • Identify market insights to inform annual service line strategies integrated into business planning.
  • Foster collaboration across hospitals, ambulatory clinics, urgent care centers, and surgical centers to achieve strategic imperatives.
  • Contribute to a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment focused on community care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement consumer-focused strategies to achieve sustainable financial and competitive service line models.
  • Collaborate with administrative leadership to ensure quality resources and asset utilization for CAPEX investments.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution for surgical services across multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Analyze operational outcomes and adjust strategies to optimize physician engagement and patient care.
  • Coordinate with market leadership to integrate service line strategies into annual business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within surgical services operations.
  • Promote collaboration and alignment across diverse healthcare facilities to achieve organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical services management; 7 years preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Proven experience in acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center management.
  • Strong background in physician relations, program development, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required for the role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to foster collaboration and drive results.
