Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct mammography imaging procedures with precision and adherence to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, performing regular checks and calibrations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.
• Document and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure imaging accuracy and reliability.
• Educate patients about the mammography process and address their concerns effectively.
• Stay informed about advancements in mammography techniques and implement best practices.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography imaging; 2 years preferred.
• Certification in mammography technology and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining mammography equipment.
• Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to healthcare standards.
• Ability to work on-site in a healthcare facility environment.
