Overview

  • Lead the management company accounting function at a prestigious private equity firm.
  • Oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for the management company.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Partner with the CFO and senior stakeholders on strategic financial initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting functions.
  • Manage and mentor an accounting team, fostering professional development and performance excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA certification mandatory, with 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Big 4 public accounting and private equity or asset management firms.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing accounting teams and operations.
  • Deep understanding of management company structures and fund operations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
