Overview
- Lead the Adult Critical Care CVICU department, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the CVICU, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.
- Coordinate with medical staff to align nursing practices with clinical objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivery systems and processes.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Manage staffing schedules and resources to meet patient care demands.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Current RN license in Texas or compact state license mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of acute care CVICU/ICU leadership experience within the last year.
- American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- CCRN and/or CNRN certifications preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential for effective leadership.
- Proven ability to implement quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Experience in policy development and strategic planning advantageous.
