Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and practice gaps among clinical staff.
- Design and implement education programs aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and maintain course curricula, training aids, and supporting materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and nursing leaders to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
- Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements in educational content.
- Evaluate individual and group performance in clinical proficiencies and provide actionable feedback.
- Lead professional development initiatives and mentor junior team members.
- Represent nursing education programs in internal and external committees and partnerships.
Job Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing or related health field required.
- Minimum two years of experience in clinical teaching or nursing professional development.
- Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification required.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center Certificate in Nursing Professional Development preferred.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, adult learning theory, and competency assessment.
- Strong skills in project management, quality improvement, and strategic alignment.
- Ability to analyze clinical workflows and improve nursing practices and processes.
