Overview

  • Lead the engagement and support of youth and families in a residential treatment facility.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and positive outcomes.
  • Implement and enhance structures for transitional and permanency programs to reduce length of stay.
  • Provide clinical supervision to teams, focusing on relationship-building and family dynamics.
  • Oversee discharge planning and community reintegration for youth and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with local resources and referral systems.
  • Participate in treatment meetings and administrative updates to support program goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and monitor transitional and permanency programs to support youth and families.
  • Provide supervision and training to transitional coordinators and family support specialists.
  • Collaborate with community-based programs to ensure effective family support.
  • Oversee assessments of family strengths and needs, implementing plans for reunification.
  • Ensure school support and educational success for youth within the facility.
  • Manage utilization of transitional funds in compliance with policies.
  • Participate in clinical and administrative meetings to align program objectives.
  • Support teams in navigating systems impacting youth and families.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct services to children with emotional disturbances.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in social services.
  • LCSW certification preferred for clinical responsibilities.
  • Experience with residential programs and high-acuity populations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and documentation.
  • Ability to travel to families' homes and work weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for program management.
