Job Description

Overview

  • Support business development and client service efforts within institutional investment management.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation projects for operational efficiency.
  • Manage client onboarding, terminations, and service requests using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill client requests and project deliverables.
  • Assist in organizing meetings and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Institutional Services.
  • Document and maintain procedures for Institutional and Wealth Management Services.
  • Gain broad exposure to investment strategies and institutional asset management operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute subscription and redemption processes for accounts, mutual funds, and private funds.
  • Track contractual obligations and ensure data and document efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Portfolio Operations, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Assist with client onboarding/offboarding and complex client requests.
  • Support process institutionalization and ad-hoc improvement projects.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain and document procedures for operational consistency.
  • Provide support for Investment Management Agreements and related documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience, preferably in institutional asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with accountability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation projects is a plus.
