Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting and financial operations for global subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance processes, controls, and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to implement advanced financial reporting tools and systems.
  • Manage statutory audits and tax filings, ensuring adherence to international standards.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making and business activity insights.
  • Mentor offshore finance teams, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Develop and oversee performance metrics for offshore teams to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for international entities.
  • Lead financial statement automation projects using advanced reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and manage external auditors effectively.
  • Supervise VAT/GST filing processes and support corporate tax teams.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide strategic insights into financial activities.
  • Mentor offshore finance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and timelines.
  • Identify and lead technology-driven process enhancements for efficiency and control improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva and Anaplan.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing offshore finance teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to lead automation initiatives and enhance financial processes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for variance analysis and strategic decision support.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
