Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of bank debt, including par, distressed, and LMA debt, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with trustees, asset managers, and accounting teams to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Perform asset servicing tasks such as security master maintenance and monitoring investment activities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for management and investor relations, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to treasury operations, ensuring accurate wire processing and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leveraging financial knowledge to optimize loan operations processes.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to drive operational improvements and compliance adherence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain and manage a portfolio of bank debt, ensuring compliance with credit agreements and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with trustees to perform weekly and monthly compliance reporting tasks effectively.
  • Monitor investment activities, booking transactions accurately and adhering to operational standards.
  • Process wires and manage asset servicing tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management and investor relations, providing valuable insights.
  • Engage with asset managers and service providers to optimize operational workflows.
  • Utilize accounting concepts and analytical skills to enhance operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Support team collaboration and multitasking in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in loan servicing or agency operations essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office products required.
  • Understanding of public loan market and settlement processes preferred.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills necessary for operational accuracy.
  • Experience with Wall Street Office or similar systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to support collaborative efforts.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
