Overview

  • Manage light industrial tenant improvement construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project schedules and resolve issues.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocation and management.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Utilize construction management software for project tracking and documentation.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, execute, and oversee tenant improvement projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor construction progress, addressing delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Prepare and present project updates to clients and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of tenant improvement projects and light industrial construction.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills to build strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as required; mileage reimbursement provided.
