Job Description

Overview

  • Lead global payroll operations for a multinational organization, ensuring compliance with international regulations and efficient payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize payroll systems and processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Manage payroll for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee payroll audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain payroll reporting for internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Lead system upgrades and integrations with HRIS and accounting platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for international employees, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with in-country payroll providers to maintain accurate payroll records and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external payroll vendors for seamless operations.
  • Oversee payroll audits and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline payroll operations.
  • Develop payroll reporting for finance and leadership teams, providing actionable insights.
  • Lead payroll system upgrades and integrations with HRIS and accounting platforms.
  • Provide training and support for HR teams on international payroll processes and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of payroll experience, with 10 years preferred, focusing on international payroll.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred for enhanced credibility.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems, including Workday and Deel, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global payroll regulations, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a multinational environment.
  • Experience managing relationships with international payroll providers and outsourced vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
