Overview

  • Lead the investment due diligence division, driving strategic initiatives in private markets and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the evaluation of private capital strategies, identifying market opportunities and delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance investment processes and create impactful educational materials.

  • Develop comprehensive market maps, tracking trends and sourcing investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on private capital managers, assessing qualitative and quantitative factors.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for investment committees and stakeholders.
  • Monitor existing investments, ensuring alignment with performance benchmarks and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate sourcing and evaluation of new investment opportunities in private markets.
  • Develop and deliver educational content to enhance stakeholder understanding of market dynamics.
  • Lead team efforts in creating strategic investment collateral and market maps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, integrating insights into investment strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree with 15+ years in financial services and 10+ years in private capital due diligence.
  • Proven expertise in evaluating fund managers and presenting findings to senior professionals.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of private equity, private credit, real estate, and real assets.
  • Familiarity with investment committee processes and fund monitoring practices.
  • Capability to develop market maps and maintain investment pipelines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams across sales, legal, and compliance.
