Overview
- Coordinate and execute state advocacy initiatives to advance health policy objectives and legislative priorities for the client.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the State Advocacy Committee, ensuring alignment with governance and strategic goals.
- Monitor and analyze state health policy developments, providing actionable insights and updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and distribute advocacy materials, including position papers, articles, and educational resources, to support legislative efforts.
- Engage with state medical societies and sections to gather intelligence and foster collaboration on policy matters.
- Assist in organizing and executing advocacy events, such as summits and policy forums, to promote legislative priorities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive advocacy initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide comprehensive analysis and commentary on legislative resolutions impacting the client’s interests.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Implement and evaluate state legislative agendas, tracking developments and assessing their impact on organizational priorities.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Health Policy, or a related field is required.

- Strong understanding of state legislative processes and health regulation policies.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills to manage complex initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for effective document and data management.
- Experience in researching health legislation and strategic advocacy planning.
