Overview

  • Support daily operations by performing clerical tasks and administrative duties in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
  • Assist in retrieving medical records and coordinating with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth interaction between the client and stakeholders.
  • Handle multiple systems and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
  • Perform general office duties, including typing, operating office machines, and reviewing mail.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment issues, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Support providers in completing payor enrollments and other administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform clerical tasks such as typing, mail handling, and operating office equipment.
  • Retrieve and manage medical records from hospital systems as required.
  • Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks, including payor enrollments.
  • Provide support to patients regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize multiple systems and windows to manage tasks effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple systems, windows, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in clerical and administrative roles preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site in a healthcare environment during standard business hours.
