Overview

  • Manage construction projects for a leading general contractor, focusing on industrial developments in the Southeast region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement innovative strategies to optimize project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage resources effectively, including permits and approvals, to streamline project workflows.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and constraints.
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory clearances for project initiation.
  • Monitor and control project costs to maintain budgetary compliance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Oversee contracts and subcontractor agreements, ensuring adherence to terms and quality standards.
  • Ensure safety protocols and building code compliance during all project phases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges and drive project success.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, promoting accountability and professional growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction; 8 years preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training certification is required.
  • Construction Project Management certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work on-site and contribute to organizational growth and success.
