Overview

  • Lead tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Develop strategies for diverse individual tax profiles, including trust and estate considerations.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and addressing client needs effectively.
  • Oversee engagements from initiation to completion, leveraging available resources for successful outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff on technical and professional skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on tax regulations and industry trends to provide informed guidance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage tax compliance processes for high-net-worth individuals, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Provide expert advice on trust and estate tax matters, enhancing client wealth management.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, addressing inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax management; 12 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in individual tax compliance and planning, including high-net-worth profiles.
  • Experience with trust and estate tax matters is advantageous.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with responsiveness to client needs.
  • Ability to oversee engagements from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of current tax regulations and industry trends.
