Overview
- Serve as an Intake Specialist for a temporary contract role supporting a diversion program.
- Conduct outreach and intake conversations with program participants, ensuring compliance and scheduling.
- Assist in maintaining organized records and updating case management systems.
- Provide front desk coverage, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls professionally.
- Collaborate with district attorney's office and court partners to identify eligible participants.
- Support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
- Temporary position with potential for extension, requiring onsite work Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct initial intake and screening of participants, scheduling them for programming.
- Follow up with participants to ensure compliance and attendance.
- Maintain accurate computer records and organize outreach attempts and project details.
- Distribute certificates of completion and other relevant documentation.
- Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.
- Collaborate with court partners and stakeholders to identify eligible participants.
- Participate in team meetings and community events as required.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in social services or court settings preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work with diverse populations in a culturally responsive manner.
- Professional demeanor and sensitivity to mental health and substance use needs.
