Job Description

Overview

  • Design and develop plumbing systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient plumbing solutions.
  • Utilize Revit software for accurate modeling and documentation of plumbing designs.
  • Contribute to Science & Technology projects, leveraging specialized knowledge to meet unique requirements.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance design practices.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental sustainability in plumbing designs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement plumbing system designs using Revit software and other tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate plumbing systems into overall project designs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation and specifications for plumbing systems.
  • Review and approve plumbing designs, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address challenges.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior designers and engineers.
  • Support Science & Technology projects with specialized plumbing solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in Revit software for plumbing system modeling and documentation.
  • Experience with Science & Technology projects is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
