Job Description

Overview

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for electronic security systems, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and solutions.
  • Respond to customer service calls, including emergency and after-hours requests.
  • Develop programming skills and technical expertise in security system management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations during service execution.
  • Maintain accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking purposes.
  • Support preventative maintenance routines for installed systems.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Install, configure, and support network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
  • Perform detailed systems upgrade planning and execution.
  • Provide technical assistance and consultation for system integrations.
  • Execute service calls in accordance with health and safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to improve operations.
  • Carry out customer support programs and small project installations.
  • Maintain and repair installed systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Complete service reports promptly and accurately.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic security systems; 7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Experience with platforms like Lenel, Milestone, or similar systems.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to on-call emergencies.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service under pressure.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to security systems.
