Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prescribe medications, examine patients, and provide comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Gather detailed health histories and perform thorough physical examinations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to inform care decisions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Communicate with managing physicians about unusual or unexpected events.
  • Adhere to Medicaid certification requirements and provide specialized care.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner; 4 years preferred.
  • Medicaid certification and ability to provide care to Medicaid patients.
  • Proficiency in Creole language for effective patient communication.
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to work flexible evening and weekend shifts.
