Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze case documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before closing resolved cases.
  • Organize physical files and update digital records within the case management system.
  • Assist in scanning, formatting, and transitioning records to a digital format.
  • Obtain court records and integrate them into the case management system.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support legal operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in legal studies preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative tasks within an office setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in a legal setting, particularly indigent criminal defense, strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in transitioning records to digital formats is an advantage.
