Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as the Facilities Coordinator, ensuring smooth maintenance operations and addressing frontline issues effectively.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Lead and team to maintain office functionality and appearance.
  • Handle diverse maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and furniture assembly.
  • Provide professional support to ensure the office environment remains safe and operational.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to report and track maintenance issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with external specialists for complex maintenance needs.
  • Contribute to creating a comfortable and efficient workspace for staff and visitors.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide timely in-house maintenance support, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage lighting systems, including bulb replacement and repairs.
  • Perform plumbing and electrical assessments and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain and service appliances such as dishwashers, refrigerators, and coffee machines.
  • Handle furniture assembly, repair, and office reconfigurations.
  • Conduct painting, drywall patchwork, and locksmithing tasks.
  • Address minor pest control issues and maintain mechanical drapery systems.
  • Install nameplates and ensure office spaces are prepared for new hires.
  • Collaborate with building management and external specialists for complex tasks.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, painting, and wall repair.
  • Functional familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Experience with furniture assembly, pest control, and locksmithing tasks.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain professionalism under stress.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Experience in high-pressure environments preferred.
  • Available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
