Overview

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients within an onsite clinic setting, focusing on holistic and value-based care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Engage in patient education, health promotion, and preventive care strategies to improve community health standards.
  • Maintain accurate and concise medical records using advanced healthcare technology systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence within the clinic environment.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to healthcare staff, promoting professional development and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new healthcare providers and staff members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in a diverse patient population.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring alignment with patient health goals.
  • Collaborate with specialists and ancillary services to provide comprehensive care coordination.
  • Supervise and guide clinical staff, including advanced practice providers and medical assistants.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and maintain board certification requirements.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality medical care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, risk management programs, and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active state medical licensure.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and healthcare technology systems.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and health equity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to work onsite during standard clinic hours, Monday through Friday.
