Overview

  • Contribute to the successful execution of multifamily construction projects as an Assistant Superintendent, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to oversee daily operations and maintain high performance standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of construction activities.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing challenges to maintain schedules and budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track milestones and project performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align project outcomes with expectations and objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractor workflows, resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Enforce site safety protocols and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor budgets and timelines, providing regular updates to project management.
  • Inspect construction progress to ensure alignment with specifications and client requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and on-site teams.
  • Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders.
  • Support the Project Manager in achieving project goals and delivering successful outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage complex projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
