Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a prominent financial services firm in a dynamic contract role.
  • Engage in custody operations, including trade settlements and asset servicing tasks.
  • Collaborate in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
  • Supervise operational workflows, ensuring compliance and precision in processes.
  • Participate in system updates, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support audits and risk assessments to maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process client instructions and manage trade settlements across various systems.
  • Handle wire transfers, including Fed/CHIPS processing and SWIFT transactions.
  • Perform asset servicing tasks, including income and corporate actions notifications.
  • Supervise operational workflows, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for custody systems and provide actionable feedback.
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Support audit processes and contribute to risk assessment activities.
  • Participate in procedure updates and assigned projects to improve operations.
  • Provide backup support for custody staff as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in trust banking or securities industry.
  • Strong understanding of trade settlement, wire transfer, and asset servicing processes.
  • Proven supervisory experience with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with custody systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage regular duties alongside project assignments.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required by business needs.
  • Strong team player with a fast-learning and adaptable mindset.
  • Knowledge of systems like Bloomberg, DTCC, and Fed Wire Transfer System preferred.
