Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as an integral member of the Talent team, supporting various initiatives for attorneys across the organization.
  • Provide administrative assistance in attorney evaluation processes, promotions, onboarding, and departure procedures.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of attorney leaves of absence and status changes.
  • Prepare employment verifications and maintain personnel records and departmental documents.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other departments on data requests and policy inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility and problem-solving abilities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting high-level Talent department operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support annual and mid-cycle evaluation processes for associates and staff attorneys.
  • Assist in the annual attorney promotion process, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Provide onboarding support for lateral and entry-level attorney hires.
  • Track attorney leaves of absence, addressing related policy queries.
  • Coordinate attorney departure processes, including exit interviews and record maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly reports and documentation for Talent directors and managers.
  • Maintain and audit departmental documents, intranet pages, and personnel filing systems.
  • Collaborate with firm personnel on data requests and policy inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and confidentiality requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative support experience in professional services or corporate environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with viDesktop platform is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
