Fund Accounting Manager

Overview

• Manage fund accounting operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead fund accounting operations, including managing a team of accounting professionals.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for audits and filings.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and controls.
• Collaborate with investment teams to support fund performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with audit coordination and tax compliance.
