Overview
- Lead fund administration operations for investment products under regulatory frameworks, including cryptocurrency and digital asset funds.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance fund governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate regulatory filings and ensure compliance with SEC requirements for digital asset investment vehicles.
- Support new product development, launch, and registration activities for crypto-based funds.
- Oversee NAV calculations, fund expense accruals, and reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including custodians, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory frameworks governing digital asset funds and 40 Act products.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in fund documentation and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer operational and regulatory processes for funds registered under the 1933 Act and 1940 Act Interval and Tender Offer funds.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate regulatory filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and shareholder reports.
- Maintain fund documentation such as prospectuses and offering materials in collaboration with legal teams.
- Support the development and registration of new crypto-based investment products.
- Ensure accuracy in NAV calculations, fund expense accruals, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on fund governance, risk management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Manage relationships with custodians, fund accountants, auditors, and other service providers.
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting digital asset funds and implement necessary adjustments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of fund administration experience, including 2 years in 1933 Act product administration.
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and S-1.
- Strong understanding of blockchain data analysis, crypto custody auditing, and digital asset valuation.
- Familiarity with mutual fund operations and Investment Company Act of 1940 requirements.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and manage external relationships.
