Job Description

Overview

  • Perform assembly and soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) adhering to industry standards.
  • Fabricate and terminate cables, wiring harnesses, and connectors for electronic systems ensuring quality and precision.
  • Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical and electronic circuits to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings for accurate implementation.
  • Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators effectively.
  • Assist engineers in developing and refining electronic prototypes and production units.
  • Create and maintain documentation of testing procedures, modifications, and system repairs for future reference.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and production documentation.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards when handling electronic components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with operating test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for professional interaction.
  • IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610 certifications are preferred.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards in electronic component handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
