Overview

  • Lead preconstruction efforts for large-scale mixed-use developments and adaptive reuse projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project feasibility and efficiency.
  • Develop cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans for diverse real estate projects.
  • Manage preconstruction activities, including design review and value engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic input to optimize project outcomes and profitability.
  • Foster relationships with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Support the transition from preconstruction to construction phases seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate preconstruction processes for real estate development projects.
  • Prepare detailed budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
  • Evaluate design documents for constructability and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to refine project plans.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction or related roles.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in real estate development projects.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, scheduling, and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with adaptive reuse and mixed-use developments is a plus.
