Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation and formatting.
- Generate tables of contents (TOCs) and tables of authorities (TOAs) for legal documents.
- Manage a dynamic desk with significant client interaction, ensuring efficient communication and task management.
- Adapt to new technologies and tools, maintaining proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
- Support litigation processes, leveraging experience in Connecticut and New York jurisdictions.
- Collaborate within a small office environment, contributing to team success and growth.
- Participate in training and transition to a hybrid work schedule, ensuring seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a legal administrative role, with litigation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in Connecticut and New York litigation processes is a plus.
