Overview

  • Lead medical operations at a healthcare organization, ensuring quality care delivery and operational excellence.
  • Oversee a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering collaboration and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise healthcare practitioners, including primary care and specialty physicians, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and manage work schedules and assignments for medical staff.
  • Evaluate physician performance, providing feedback and fostering professional development.
  • Interact with patients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with care.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active New York State Physician License.
  • Board Certification in a relevant specialty and active DEA Certificate.
  • BCLS Certification and Infection Control Certificate required.
  • Completed NYS Department of Health mandated prescriber education in pain management within the last 3 years.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills for effective leadership.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams and operational oversight.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation.
