Overview

• Provide specialized nursing care in cardiovascular surgery settings, focusing on open-heart procedures and patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver nursing care tailored to cardiovascular surgery patients, focusing on open-heart procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide timely interventions to address health concerns.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical operations.
• Educate patients and families about post-surgical care and recovery processes.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Valid New York State RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience, with five years preferred.
• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
• Clinical expertise in cardiovascular surgery and open-heart procedures.
• Ability to work flexible 12.5-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.
