Job Description

Overview

  • Support the NYC Rent Registration project by ensuring compliance with housing regulations and standards.
  • Analyze and process rent registration data to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project leads to meet deadlines and project goals effectively.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to NSPIRE standards during inspections and compliance checks.
  • Provide analytical insights to improve housing quality and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain accurate records of rental properties and occupancy changes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of compliance monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze rent registration data to ensure compliance with local and federal housing regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports using Excel and other tools for project tracking.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address compliance issues and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and document changes in tenancy and occupancy as required.
  • Conduct inspections based on NSPIRE standards to ensure property safety and habitability.
  • Utilize compliance tools to track and report housing compliance metrics.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to improve housing compliance processes.
  • Provide support in maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytical roles; 4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new compliance tools.
  • Knowledge of housing compliance and rent registration processes is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with NSPIRE standards and compliance monitoring systems preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data processing.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with project teams.
