Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and review tax compliance for management company, GP, and investment partnerships.
  • Prepare quarterly tax projections and review book-to-tax adjustments.
  • Ensure timely completion of foreign subsidiary tax filings and transfer pricing studies.
  • Calculate estimated taxable income and summarize partner compensation annually.
  • Track book-to-tax differences for management company and GP entities.
  • Manage internal and external tax deliverables and prioritize tax compliance projects.
  • Research US and foreign tax compliance issues using online tax research software.
  • Collaborate with accounting to streamline information flows and customize automated reports.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review quarterly tax projections for co-investment vehicles.
  • Handle tax allocations, state apportionment, withholding, and PTE tax computations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of US and foreign income tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external tax administrators and accounting firms for K1s and tax returns.
  • Research tax compliance issues and provide solutions using tax research software.
  • Liaise with family office and principal personnel for GP-related tax inquiries.
  • Work closely with accounting to enhance tax efficiency through automated reports.
  • Drive tax compliance processes to achieve timely and accurate results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of tax experience in public accounting or financial services sector.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with systems and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for clear idea illustration.
  • Ability to manage projects and perform tax research effectively.
  • Thrives under pressure and delivers results in a timely manner.
  • Experience with GP and management company-related entities is essential.
