Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Analyze project specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on material costs and industry trends.
• Assist in bid preparation and presentation to secure new projects for the firm.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimation, with 7 years preferred.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools used in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate cost calculations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
• Knowledge of commercial construction practices and materials.
• Ability to work on-site in the Detroit Metro area.
