Network Engineer

Overview

• Join a leading technology team as a Network Engineer, focusing on Palo Alto firewalls and global network infrastructure support.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of a complex network spanning multiple datacenters and offices worldwide.
• Work in a hybrid environment with a mix of on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Engage in collaborative projects with security and network teams to ensure robust infrastructure.
• Utilize your expertise in Palo Alto firewalls to implement and maintain network appliances.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance in a dynamic trading environment.
• Document network topology, configurations, and change management processes.
• Participate in on-call and weekend support rotations as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Configure and maintain connectivity between datacenters, offices, and trading partner infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and related network appliances.
• Monitor network performance and address issues in a live trading environment.
• Collaborate with security teams to manage controls and ensure network safety.
• Document network topology, configurations, and change management processes.
• Provide on-call and weekend support as part of a rotation schedule.
• Support both security and network teams in various projects and initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation of VPNs, including IPSec and TLS-based solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls is essential.
• Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
• Knowledge of IPSec and TLS-based VPNs, including Global Protect and Prisma.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve under stress with attention to detail.
