Job Description
Overview
- Manage financial operations for corporate services, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities.
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop and present budgets and track expenses.
- Analyze financial submissions and report results to senior management.
- Prepare month-end close packages, including variance analysis and accrual reviews.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and manage project cost tracking.
- Coordinate capital allocation requests and analyze global capital expenditures.
- Develop financial models and business cases for capital projects and investments.
- Support audits and external reporting requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee corporate services budgets, including operating and capital expenses.
- Collaborate with department leadership on budget development and expense tracking.
- Prepare journal entries and manage fixed assets during monthly close activities.
- Track project costs against budgets and prepare performance reports.
- Coordinate global capital allocation requests and expenditure analysis.
- Develop ROI models for capital projects and investments.
- Support quarterly and annual audits and external reporting processes.
- Collaborate with UK finance team on monthly reporting and project analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
- 5-7 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- CPA certification and Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the music, media, or entertainment industry is a plus.
