Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for global technology budgets and joint ventures, ensuring strategic alignment and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize financial processes and reporting accuracy across departments.
  • Drive efficiency in monthly close processes, reducing manual tasks and enhancing financial integrity.
  • Provide financial oversight for vendor selection, project investments, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Standardize reporting and allocation processes, ensuring global alignment and consistency.
  • Oversee governance and operational architecture for joint venture financial functions.
  • Deliver high-level management reporting and investor summaries, including capital calls and distributions.
  • Mentor finance teams to elevate accuracy, efficiency, and strategic financial planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own annual budgets and monthly forecasting processes, identifying risks and driving solutions to meet financial targets.
  • Enhance financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate summaries of spend versus budget.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance on vendor selection and business cases.
  • Standardize allocation of software and shared technology costs globally.
  • Align technology-related spending across global business units for consistent tracking.
  • Lead governance for joint venture finance functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop robust processes for joint venture operations within the global framework.
  • Oversee delivery of management and investor reporting, including waterfall calculations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting, with expertise in global technology financial support.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and complex management reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to perform complex analysis and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement.
  • Ability to partner effectively with leadership, valuation firms, and auditors.
