Job Description

Overview

  • Manage financial operations for corporate services, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop and present budgets and track expenses.
  • Analyze financial submissions and report results to senior management.
  • Prepare month-end close packages, including variance analysis and accrual reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and manage project cost tracking.
  • Coordinate capital allocation requests and analyze global capital expenditures.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for capital projects and investments.
  • Support audits and external reporting requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee corporate services budgets, including operating and capital expenses.
  • Collaborate with department leadership on budget development and expense tracking.
  • Prepare journal entries and manage fixed assets during monthly close activities.
  • Track project costs against budgets and prepare performance reports.
  • Coordinate global capital allocation requests and expenditure analysis.
  • Develop ROI models for capital projects and investments.
  • Support quarterly and annual audits and external reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with UK finance team on monthly reporting and project analysis.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • CPA certification and Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the music, media, or entertainment industry is a plus.
