Overview
- Provide high-quality infusion care in a patient-focused outpatient setting.
- Administer biologic therapies for chronic conditions with precision and care.
- Collaborate with a small, supportive care team to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Manage infusion sessions independently, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients closely during and after treatments for optimal outcomes.
- Document patient responses and treatments accurately using EMR systems.

- Work in a no-weekends, no-on-call schedule with occasional flexibility.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer IV, IM, and SubQ medications following established protocols.
- Perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs prior to therapy.
- Safely initiate and titrate IV infusions, including weight-based calculations.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and post-treatment.
- Prepare medications and assemble infusion supplies adhering to safety standards.
- Document treatments and patient responses accurately in EMR systems.
- Communicate effectively with providers and team members regarding patient care.
- Support high-quality, patient-centered care in the infusion clinic environment.
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
- Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong IV insertion and medication administration skills.
- Experience with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage patient care in a solo-nurse setting.
- Adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
