Job Description

Overview

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Lead ground-up construction projects, coordinating public and private works effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and building codes.
  • Monitor project progress, implementing solutions to address challenges and delays.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site construction teams, fostering productivity.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports to stakeholders regularly.
  • Optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-effective and timely project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance with standards.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain progress.
  • Prepare and submit detailed project documentation, including reports and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align construction activities with organizational goals.
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels to maintain transparency and coordination.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up construction projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic construction environments effectively.
