Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Optimize surgical room utilization and expand operational capacity.
• Standardize preference cards and stabilize core nursing teams.
• Transition staff to a metrics-driven, high-volume environment.
• Partner with physicians to implement operational changes and improve scheduling access.
• Expand surgical hours and enhance scheduling efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, with enrollment in a BSN program if not already completed.
• Current New Jersey RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 6 years of nursing experience, with 2-3 years in leadership roles.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in acute care settings and surgical program management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to drive operational improvements.
• Ability to manage financial, administrative, and clinical aspects of the department.
