Overview

  • Lead financial reporting and accounting operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and standards in all financial activities.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of new accounting systems and software.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in senior-level accounting positions.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a remote setting.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to stakeholders.
