Overview

  • Lead strategic demand planning for a global supply chain organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain accurate rolling forecasts to optimize inventory and production planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize advanced tools like SAP and Power BI for data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  • Implement strategies for product lifecycle management, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Support resolution of urgent material shortages to ensure seamless operations and delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across local and global supply chain functions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the planning team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Analyze historical and projected demand data to optimize material supply and production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain planning bills of materials for configured products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize Power BI to generate insightful KPI reports for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Manage product phase-in/phase-out strategies to align with market trends and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with MRP Buyer/Planners to address demand fluctuations and ensure timely response.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and achieve operational excellence.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional growth and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain planning or production control, with 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with Power BI for data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and their practical applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and presentation purposes.
  • Proven leadership skills in team management and process improvement.
