Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction

Overview

• Lead data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project scope, budget, and schedule effectively.
• Oversee all aspects of construction management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate all phases of data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project disruptions.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project feasibility and efficiency.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare and present project documentation, including progress reports and financial summaries.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale data center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work on-site and manage projects in Northwest Indiana (NWI).
