Overview

• Lead on-site construction activities for a Michigan-based commercial general contractor.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise daily construction site operations and ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage subcontractor performance and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project managers to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor resource allocation and maintain cost efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management; 15 years preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications are advantageous.
• Proven expertise in pre-engineered building construction is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and construction codes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
• Ability to handle complex construction challenges and provide solutions.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Willingness to work on-site for project duration.
