Job Description

Overview

  • Manage fund administration for cryptocurrency and digital asset investment vehicles under regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee operational and regulatory processes for funds registered under the 1933 and 1940 Acts.
  • Coordinate preparation and review of regulatory filings, including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
  • Support product development, launch, and registration activities for crypto-based funds.
  • Ensure accuracy of NAV calculations, fund expense accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on fund governance and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Stay updated on evolving regulatory frameworks governing digital asset funds.
  • Engage with third-party service providers for fund operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer operational and regulatory processes for cryptocurrency and digital asset funds.
  • Coordinate preparation and review of regulatory filings, including shareholder reports and prospectuses.
  • Support new product development and registration activities for digital asset funds.
  • Ensure accuracy in fund accounting, expense accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Manage relationships with custodians, fund accountants, and auditors.
  • Collaborate on fund governance and risk management initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting digital asset investment vehicles.
  • Review fund documentation in coordination with legal and compliance teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of fund administration experience; 2 years in cryptocurrency funds.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEC filings and Investment Company Act of 1940 requirements.
  • Proficiency in blockchain data analysis, staking rewards, and crypto custody auditing.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to hybrid work arrangements and dynamic team environments.
