Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Human Resources department of a dynamic healthcare organization, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and efficient payroll and benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement HR policies and programs that align with organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee relations to attract and retain top talent.
  • Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise accounting staff to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Provide guidance on employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and background checks, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and new hire orientation to integrate employees effectively into the organization.
  • Administer payroll systems, ensuring accurate processing of employee compensation and benefits contributions.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Supervise accounting staff, ensuring timely reconciliation of office receivables and bank statements.
  • Provide counsel to management on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations issues.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, implementing necessary updates to policies and practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee engagement and professional development.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend strategies for organizational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR experience, with 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, including ADP Workforce, and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in payroll and benefits administration, including compliance and reporting requirements.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred, demonstrating advanced HR expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive employee relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organizational compliance effectively.
